I scream!

Ice cream...it's a Ulat thing.

Sisters

Dear God,

Please take care of my little sister. I love her even when she's pulling my hair and kicking me in the face. I know one day we'll be best friends. I know one day we'll both get married to boys. I know one day we'll both have babies and sit together quietly while they play in the yard. For today, I'll just hold her so she knows I love her. I'll wrap my arms around her so she can know love. So she can know You.

Two peas in a pod

Dad thought #1: I'm hungry. I wonder what's for dinner.
Dad thought #2: My head's kinda cold.

Kennedy thought #1: I'm hungry. I wonder what's for dinner.

Clouds

I asked Savanna the other day, what should we talk about? She says, "Let's talk about clouds!" "What about clouds should we talk about?" She says, "Let's talk about how you collect them."
Now, as an adult I'm thinking...collecting clouds is impossible. Let's see where she's going with this. "How do we collect clouds?" She says, "We could find a great big hill and climb all the way to the top. When, we get there, and if we make ourselves really tall, we can reach way up and pull them down. Then we can collect a bunch."
Lesson for mommy: To a four-year old, nothing's impossible.
Sometimes we're helpful...

Sometimes we're not!!!

Father Stan

In early May, our family was lessened by one. Our parish priest, Father Stan, PCS'd to another base. To say goodbye, out parish had a going away dinner, and Father insisted that all of the children dress up as Polish nobility (he is Polish). Well, to Savanna, if you say princess, then she's planning her outfit for days. In this case, it was weeks. We had to curl her hair, and although it isn't pictured here, she got to wear mommy's tiara.
This was also a sad occasion since Father baptised both of my babies, and to him they were his children. Savanna bawled and bawled and bawled. It's very upsetting to have a crying princess. They are inconsolable! Not only that, their tiaras wind up being on crooked, and that makes them even more inconsolable.
