Last, but not least, this is Savanna's floor routine. She scored an 8.175 here. All I can say is that she is living up to the nickname they've given her (Sassy). This is her favorite event by far. Yes, she is supposed to walk out like that.

So here's Savanna-nans vault. Somehow she got an 8.30 here. LOL You can see her coach telling her to run faster (which I think is the funniest part), and then points to where she is supposed to hit the board. This is because she is usually shy of that mark. She just got this vault in practice a while back, so this is good for her!
This was the first event of the day. I thought she was going to pass out or throw up right before from the look on her face, but she did a wonderful job. She kinda fell on the dismount, and was a bit more wobbly than usual, but sooooo darn cute! She got a 7.45 here.
This was Savanna's first meet as a level 4 USAG gymnast. She was soooo nervous, but did a great job for her first meet. This is probably the event she struggles on the most, but also gets the most reward from when she does something new. She got a 6.85 on this routine. You can see her coach, Ally, in the background super happy when she got one of the elements she hardly ever gets in practice. LOL
A couple of Saturdays ago, all of our hard work paid off. Sassy competed in the 2nd annual Boot Camp Classic. Yes, that's right. We have to throw in all the military lingo we can when holding a gymnastics meet on base. You'd understand why I said "our" hard work if you saw me chasing after a 1 year old for months on end at practice. We aren't even going to mention the 3 year old.
Sassy did a great job! This was her 1st gymnastics meet and she was SOOO serious, but such a hard-worker too. I was very proud of how hard she worked. This is her beam routine. She ended up getting 1st place for this. She did the handstand (which although puny-looking was actually good because she got no help) and round-off all by herself. AND Mommy held the camera without shaking (unlike the other videos which were taken by daddy):)
