Well, Halloween was here again; it Minot it was a balmy fifty degrees. Now, considering that we usually have snow on the ground and are running from the cars to the door, this was a great Halloween! Savanna was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and I have to say, pulled it off quite well.
Kennedy was a monkey (as she is most of the time), and drew lots of "oohs" and "what a cute little boy!" from onlookers. The only problem was that she wanted to stop after each house and sample the goods. This trick-or treating thing was right up her alley! At one point, she just finally sat on the curb and started opening her candy. After a lolly-pop, tootsie roll, and a box of Dots, we were able to finally find a way to keep her out of the candy.
Fun was had by all and the parents are grateful that we don't have to survive this dreadful holiday (if you can call it that since it's not a "holy-day") again for another year!!!
